Zakia Khatun presented her first part of the Ph.D. work at the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Metrology for Extended Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and Neural Engineering on October 27, 2022, in the session called Machine Learning Analysis and Simulation Approaches for Biomedical Engineering.

The main objective of this study was to understand the interplay between knee cartilage, quadriceps muscle, quadriceps tendon, and patellar tendon. Zakia's participation in this conference not only facilitated the dissemination of her findings but also allowed her to interact with esteemed colleagues and researchers. The resulting constructive feedback and exposure to cutting-edge research in the field further enriched the depth and meaning of her work.

This work was conducted in collaboration with the Institution for Biomedical and Neural Engineering lab, RU, Landspitali University Hospital, Reykjavik, Iceland, Iceland and the group named Machine Intelligence for Video, Images, and Audio Recognition (MIVIA), UNISA, Italy.
